HIVE Technology Foundation Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation. Florida corporate status does not by itself confer federal tax-exempt status. This website does not represent the foundation as federally tax-exempt and does not state that contributions are tax-deductible.
These programs define why the foundation exists. Institutional services may help fund the work, but private benefit is not the foundation’s purpose.
We maintain Knolo and related open-source tools for reproducible, local-first, privacy-conscious AI retrieval. The work is intended for investigations, education, archives, nonprofit knowledge systems, local government, and regulated, sensitive, or offline environments.
Through CCRNet, we study how fraud and cybercrime reports can be structured, searched, connected, evaluated, and safely used in model development. Research directions are distinguished from released capabilities.
We work to publish fraud typologies, research findings, safety guidance, anonymized trend reports, technical papers, and educational datasets that make cybercrime knowledge more useful and understandable.
We intend to provide free or subsidized tools, datasets, or technical assistance to qualified nonprofits, researchers, journalists, victim-support organizations, and under-resourced public agencies. Eligibility and availability will be published before applications open.
A local-first retrieval stack for reproducible knowledge access, with deterministic lexical retrieval, optional semantic reranking, offline-friendly packs, and no required vector database. Knolo is not exclusive to cybercrime.

Explore CCRNet researchBefore reopening public intake or governed data exchange, the foundation intends to publish and operationalize the policies below. Until then, public report intake remains closed.
Board oversight, director information, and a conflict-of-interest policy will be published as the governance program is formalized. No earnings may be distributed for the private benefit of insiders.
Policies will cover permissible sources, consent and lawful basis, minimization, retention, access, allegation handling, correction, provenance, de-identification, model-training eligibility, prohibited uses, legal requests, transfers, and human review.
Knolo source, documentation, release terms, and contribution practices are maintained publicly. CCRNet will identify which research outputs, datasets, and tools can be released safely.
Future public reporting will distinguish grants, sponsorships, memberships, and paid support from program spending. No fundraising claim on this site should be read as a claim of tax deductibility.
The foundation may pursue open-source and cybersecurity grants, academic collaborations, fraud-prevention partnerships, sponsored research, philanthropic support for public education, institutional memberships, and paid deployments or support.
Any future paid access is intended to sustain open infrastructure, research, education, and subsidized public-interest access—not to make a commercial platform the foundation’s ultimate purpose.
